This Apple Cinnamon Quick Bread is packed with soft apples and cinnamon spice. It’s perfect as a fall treat or a yummy snack or breakfast any time of year!
I jumped head first into fall with lots of pumpkin recipes, but I realized that pumpkin isn’t the only star of autumn. Apples are one of my favorite fruits and they’re at their best this time of year!
I’ve pinned lots of tasty apple dessert recipes lately, but since we have an overabundance of Halloween candy and sweets in our house, I figured I’d go with something that could pass as breakfast!
In other news, for those of you who haven’t already seen on Facebook, we have a new baby in our family!
She’s so pretty! Yet to be named. I’ve named all my cars in the past, but a good name for this one hasn’t come to me yet.
There was nothing particularly wrong with my old car other than the fact that it was tiny (a Hyundai Elantra) and my hubby is huge. And didn’t fit in the car. And complained about it every time he was in the car. Every. Time.
So, the new car is a welcome change, but I do miss Ellie a tiny bit. Ellie and I have been through a lot together. Ellie on day one, June 2009:
Three and half years and 43,000 miles together. Ellie and I drove from Boston to Daytona Beach together. Then from Daytona to Pensacola. Then to Oklahoma and finally here to Mississippi. I know Ellie will make her new owner happy!

The bread was delicious! It was perfectly moist and sweet with crisp edges. Slathering it in cinnamon sugar butter put it over the top, but it was just as good straight up. For all of my New England friends who go apple picking this year, this is a great way to use up some of your bounty!

Yeay for the new car! That’s always fun! I am calling our current car “The Gold Nugget” because it’s gold. Not too clever, but I really like it.*
