These Coconut Banana Pancakes are dairy-free and vegan, and super moist and flavorful. Made with 4 different coconut products, they'll transport you to a tropical paradise right in your own kitchen! Ahh, pancakes. We eat a lot of pancakes around here, and we never get sick of pancakes. They're one of our favorite parts of the weekend. Especially when they involve yummy things like banana and coconut. I would say our favorite standard pancakes are a classic chocolate chip. But sometimes we like to mix it up and try some fun add-ins. We've done lots of pancake variations-- … [Read More...]

Summertime Grilled Pizzas

June 28, 2013 By jessfuel Leave a Comment

One of my favorite things about living in California is all the amazing grocery stores. Pattypan Squash Gratin

June 21, 2013 By jessfuel 4 Comments

Sometimes I make recipes that are really delicious but really ugly and unphotogenic. Sometimes I decide not to blog those recipes. After all, 98% of the time the picture sells the food. But this is the second time I’ve made this recipe, and it certainly won’t be the last. It’s definitely a keeper, so I…

Last post I brought you a delicious but nutritious, healthful cherry breakfast recipe. This post I am bringing you an over the top, super indulgent, not-even-a-little-bit-healthy cherry dessert recipe! If you’re not drooling over the pictures, there’s probably something wrong with you. Big juicy cherries, warm melty chocolate chip and gooey blondie batter? Uhm, yes…

These muffins are made with coconut flour, so they’re gluten-free but still super delicious! Bursting with fresh cherries, they are perfect for summer breakfasts. Since we move around so much, we’re often living in places where we don’t know anyone. Of course, as anyone in the military knows, we make fast friends. But 98% of…
