Mummy Dogs for Halloween

October 31, 2011 by jessfuel 2 Comments

Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had a good weekend of celebrating! We sure did!

If you’re unsure of what I dressed up as… I was a deviled egg! Of course I had to be a type of food! Then I found my siblings…

Anyways, Saturday night we went to another costume party and I wanted to bring another fun treat. I’d been seeing these Mummy Dogs all over Pinterest, and thought they were absolutely adorable!

If you’re looking for an easy and fun last minute dinner for the kids (or grown-ups) tonight, check these out!

Mummy Dogs

  • 1 package (8 count) bun length hot dogs, cut in half
  • 1 1/2 tubes crescent roll dough
  • mustard

Cut crescent roll dough into thin strips. Wrap each hot dog half with dough, leaving a small section open for the faces. Place all mummies on a baking sheet.

Bake the mummies according to package directions. Using a toothpick, dot on some mustard eyes.

The mummies were a big hit at the party! There was lots of other food, too, including Jill‘s AMAZING pumpkin cupcakes (just a box of yellow cake mix + a can of pumpkin + cinnamon & nutmeg– so easy!)

And witch hat cookies!

I love fun holiday themes! Even the bathroom was cutely decorated.

One more day of celebrating! Can’t wait for all the trick-or-treaters tonight!
