Healthy Chocolate Banana Muffins
 
 
These Healthy Chocolate Banana Muffins are light on sugar and big on flavor. They are sure to cure any chocolate craving and make the perfect dessert or breakfast on the go!

Ingredients
  • 4 very ripe bananas, mashed
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup whole-wheat flour
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Line a muffin tin with baking cups or spray with nonstick spray and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine bananas, sugar, and egg.
  4. In another bowl, combine flours, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and baking powder.
  5. Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix lightly to combine.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Divide the batter into 12 muffin cups and bake about 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
  8. Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool.
