These Garlic Rosemary White Beans are such an easy but flavorful and impressive side dish that come together in less than 20 minutes. Flavored with fresh rosemary, garlic and onion, they taste like they've been braising all day.

Serves: 3-4 servings
Ingredients
  • 1 (15 oz) can white beans (such as cannellini or great northern)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ red onion, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • ½ cup chicken or vegetable stock
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Rinse and drain white beans; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet or saute pan over medium heat. Add onion and saute, stirring frequently, until soft, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and rosemary and saute an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add beans and stock. Bring to a simmer and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.
